Andrea is a banker in the Professionals Banking Division at Citizens Bank in Boston where she specializes in providing financial services to law firms. Her prior banking experience was with Silicon Valley Bank in Newton, MA where she was a relationship manager for technology companies.
Andrea took a hiatus from the workplace for eleven years after giving birth to her first of three daughters. During that time, in addition to raising three "spirited" girls, currently ages 13, 11 & 8, she devoted her time to various children's issues. Andrea was a member of the Andona Society which provides camperships, scholarships and funding for extracurricular activities for the youth of Andover. She also served as the Society's Treasurer. Andrea also volunteered for Family Service, Inc. where she worked as a court appointed advocate in the CASA program. Here she was a voice for children mired in the foster care system.
Currently, outside of her efforts with Great Women to Know and Esperanza Academy, Andrea works teaching literacy to youth through Operation Hope. She is also the Treasurer of the Andona Scholarship Trust.
Andrea lives in Andover, MA and enjoys reading and recently began playing the piano after many years. Mostly, however, she enjoys being a "Mom" to her daughters.
Andrea graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics and graduated magna cum laude from Babson College with an M.B.A.
"The synergy of working with Great Women to Know's bright, creative and compassionate group of women is truly compelling. These are women that are not self-focused, but who are committed to using their skills and experience to enhance the lives of young women. Like me, they feel blessed by the opportunities they have had in life and want to share them. I continue to be surprised with regard to how this collaborative effort has not only done so much for well-deserving, hardworking girls, but how the group inspires me in my efforts to continue to learn and challenge myself."
