2nd Annual holiday Tea & Yankee Swap

February 2, 2011 A huge Thank You to Debra Najjar and her daughter Melissa for yet again organizing and hosting our 2nd Annual Holiday Tea and Yankee Swap on December 11th. GWTK members and their guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon of finger sandwiches, tea, and dessert; celebrating the holidays and the success of our high school Freshmen and Sophomore graduates from Esperanza Academy at the festively decorated Lanam Club. We were thrilled that so many of our new members and also the daughters of members were in attendance.
Members and the girls, now experts in the art of swapping gifts, enjoyed bumping and swapping for the coveted gifts which this year seemed to be a "Ceramic Pig Cookie Jar" and the "Hair Straightener". We would like to thank everybody who so generously supported and contributed to this event making the occasion even more festive and fun for the girls!
