GWTK took a last minute venue change in stride and used it as a case in point that it's not the change itself, but the way you respond to it that determines the outcome. We enjoyed an evening rich with insight, personal support, delicious food, and great service despite the snafu.
"The key to managing change is believing that it will result in new opportunities and lead to personal growth", says Maureen Campiola, Life Coach, and our featured speaker on a chilly January evening at Serene Restaurant. Maureen provided eight specific tactics to manage change, and illuminated each with personal stories, told by four GWTK members-with four "classic" change challenges:
* going back to work after being a stay at home Mom
* changing careers during a time of family crises
* losing a spouse and building a new life as a single person
* losing a prestigious position, downshifting a career, and feeding a passion.
