SCOOP Program - Esperanza Girls & GWTK to Visit Children's Hospital

20 Esperanza Girls and their GWTK chaperones will travel to Boston to take part in the S.C.O.O.P. program which was designed by Children's Hospital nurses to introduce children, youth, and young adults to nursing career opportunities. S.C.O.O.P. is one of our nursing initiatives to address the nursing shortage crisis. The program goals are to communicate, educate, and inspire our youth to consider nursing as a career.

Nurses host school field trips to the hospital where the girls will enjoy a hospital tour, a panel discussion with a variety of specialty nurses and lunch!
