What Does it Mean to be a Great Woman to Know?
While we rarely think of ourselves in those terms, we all know one when we meet her. She's smart, talented, experienced, inspiring and above all, generous. The idea for Great Women to Know came from my desire to introduce the many Great Women I know to one another. I could see the potential in those connections, but the connections weren't always easy to make. By forming Great Women to Know, we created a way for a diverse group of women to come together to learn from and help each other, and to harness their collective experience to help others.
Successful communities thrive on participation, and Great Women to Know is no exception. We are richer for the active involvement of women from many different backgrounds, with diverse talents and passions, and at different places on the work/life continuum. Great Women to Know offers frequent opportunities to create and nurture relationships through our social, educational and service programs. By taking an active role, we can not only continue to develop ourselves personally and professionally, but expand what we have to offer to other women within our organization, our local community and beyond.
Being part of this community means that while you are benefiting from knowing other Great Women, someone else is benefiting from knowing you. We are very happy to have you.
